Are you watching the 2007 NFL Draft? I’m flipping back and forth between it and the Ole Miss / MSU baseball game. Patrick Willis (Ole Miss linebacker extraordinaire) was selected 11th overall by the 49ers. Can’t wait to get some rookie cards and see him play on Sunday. In other draft news, it was fun to see Notre Dame QB Brady Quinn drop like a rock. I think he’s overrated, as is Notre Dame just about every season.

As far as the baseball series, last night was a Rebel romp. Today, the Rebels won 5-1 in a game that was much closer than the score. The Rebels capitalized on Bulldog mistakes (which were plentiful), had great pitching from Lance Lynn, and also some great luck including a excuse me double play when the Bulldogs had based loaded nobody out in the 5th inning. So far both games have been televised, something I could get used to but unfortunately will not get the chance.
